Your Reflection — The First AI Attempt

April 2025. The workshops were running. The workbook was working. But I wanted more.

What if the workbook wasn't a PDF — but a conversation?

The Custom GPT

I took the workbook and packed it into a Custom GPT. Every question. Every framework. The complete logic. Then I gave it a name: "Your Mirror Image."

Not coaching. Not advice. Not a motivational pep talk. A radical mirror.

"It asks you the questions you've been dodging. It uncovers the spots you don't want to look at right now. And it shows you what you need to do NOW."

That's what I wrote to my community. The response was immediate: people tried it and were fascinated.

What Worked

The format. Conversation instead of PDF. Interactive instead of static. Minutes instead of days. The GPT asked the same questions as the workbook — but it listened. It responded to answers. It pushed deeper.

That was the moment I understood: The format has to be a conversation. Not a document. A conversation.

What Didn't Work

The platform. ChatGPT Plus was a prerequisite. Not everyone has it. And even those who do — the GPT had limits:

• No backend → no way to store data
• No control over the prompt → OpenAI could change things anytime
• No integration → no email capture, no Stripe, no tracking
• No custom branding → looks like ChatGPT, not like Booster

The format was right. The platform wasn't.

The Realization

Three attempts, three lessons:

• Workbook (v1/v2): Content was right. Format too heavy.
• Workshops (live): Format was right. Doesn't scale.
• Custom GPT: Format AND scale were right. Platform wasn't.

What I needed was clear: My own system. Own code. Own data. Own prompt. Own branding. Everything under my control.

But that's not what happened next. Not yet. First came something else: silence.

What I Learned

Prototypes don't need to be perfect. The Custom GPT took 2 hours to build. It wasn't pretty. Not polished. But it proved the concept works. Sometimes you don't need an MVP — you need a proof of concept. And that's allowed to be ugly.
